Uncombined layer paint problem

Hi, I created a new texture with 4 layers. Works fine and weight files show all 4 layers are good, but when i want to paint foliage to uncombined layers they all work except layer 04. I have triple checked everything, no errors in GE log or Game log. Any suggestions? Cheers.

Update, i just added a new single layer texture as a test and now its working, is this a possible bug that the very last uncombined layer does not work?
