Hairline overlay

Hi all. Very new to FS.
Q: Is there a way to overlay a hairline layout over a blank map in order to trace out a personalised map area.
Explaination:
1. Downloaded a 2km x 2km map area from goole map pro.
2. imported to drawing software and traced out(hairline) all the field, roads, houses, farms etc.
Dimension in drawing software 2km = 2000mm
3. Exported as a png transparency
4. ???????????????
Can i import this line based png into giants editor and overlay it to cover the whole of the blank map?
I would then be able to start painting in fields, roads etc to mirror my own area. not fussed about terrain height(yet).
