Small Garden Plots on farms???

I feel I should know this, but…. On some farms, there are tiny plots of land that look for all intents that I should be able to farm these, but they are too small for any machines. I know there’s a rake and shovel and a bucket, but how do I plant new crops and do I use these hand tools to work these little gardens?

I’ve used the mods for open air gardens, etc., but would like to use these little premade plots in the house yards for boredom busters.

Thanks, Decriptus. That helps. I knew I had seen something, but couldn’t find it. It may not even be worth the effort, but I’m going to try it.
