Could someone enlighten me as to what the actual .... these threads are about?

Daily Updates - Mods currently in testing [Console/PC]

All I see are .gifs posted by a moderator, is he having a stroke, a laugh, been replaced with a spam bot, or is it some sort of "in joke" Giants are having at our (the community) expense.

I'm hoping there's a genuine reason for them but I'm not seeing it.

The first post is edited/updated constantly and shows what mods are in testing at that particular time.
Also, they are not moderators, they are Giants employees

Oh yeah my bad, thought the name was green not red.

I tend to browse this forum via the "new posts" link, explains why I only ever see the gifs and not the first post.

A hyperlink to the first post in each gif post would've eliminated that confusion though.

Why bother when it's a small thread that gets posts deleted every so often? There's never really more than a few posts in it
