Dry farming is often described as crop production without irrigation during a dry season, usually in a region that receives at least 20 inches (50 cm) of annual rainfall, and utilizes the moisture stored in the soil from the rainy season.
In game it rains and when you drive across the field it's not wet or muddy. They are dry and shows that they didn't get any rain on the field.

Rain will generate puddles in every depression which will dry overtime. And once you get in, if you're fast on lifting the cultivator you may get out without help
