Epic games custom mods

I was trying to install custom mods from online but they won't show up even when I make a "mods" folder in the game files. I can't find any info anywhere on how to do it. They won't show up at all in downloadable content.

On epic, this folder doesn't exist and even when I do create my own it still doesn't show in game

It does exist, you're looking in the epic folder. It isn't in the epic folder.

On windows the default mods folder is in Documents/my games/farmingsimulator2022 if it is not there then I would suggest you download a mod from the in game download section then download the same mod from the Giants website to get the exact filename and then do a windows search for the exact file name of the mod to find where the in game one is found.
