Hi everyone,
I'm currently facing overheating issues with my PC build, and I could use some advice from the community. I've tried a few cooling solutions, like adjusting fan speeds and ensuring proper airflow in my case, but the problem persists. I’m using an air cooler for my CPU, and while it’s decent, I’m beginning to wonder if I need to consider liquid cooling or additional case fans for better thermal management.
Have any of you experienced similar issues? What cooling solutions or tips do you recommend to help keep temperatures in check? I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions or insights you can share to help solve this problem! Thank you!

Re: Overheating Issues: How to Properly Cool Your PC Build
I have a Coolermaster HAF cabinet and it's the best cabinet I have ever had, it's 10 years old now but you can still get new ones, lots of fans and ribs for good airflow. My cpu is liquid cooled, also recommended. My brother uses a fan cooled cpu, but the awesome silence in the cabinet I have is unbeatable. Everything is from Coolermaster; the liquid cpu cooler paired with their Silencio fans, never had any issues with it.

As you have not mentioned it:
- typical room temperature?
- CPU overclocked?
- proper airflow in case means you have case fans installed?
Most of the time the CPU cooler is not mounted correctly. More specifically the heatsink does not have proper contact with the CPU. I saw people installing a cooler with the plastic foil still covering the pre-applied thermal paste.
A decent CPU cooler and two 120mm silent case fans (one pushing in front, one *censored* out back) is all you need for a almost silent PC. Works for me for years now.

Re: Overheating Issues: How to Properly Cool Your PC Build
Without knowing anything about your pc, how do you expect people to give you a good advice? It can be really anything what is causing overheating. But we even don't know what you consider as overheating. So to start, list the specs, CPU, GPU, case, fans, also mention temps and behaviour why you think it's overheating. But maybe a computershop is a better start.

If you have a wife or kids, having them blow on it while you play might work.
Otherwise, in between game stutters (assuming you're playing FS) turn your head and blow on it yourself.
The best option might be to get a PC that can meet the specs of the games you're playing.
