FS23 Netflix

I am new to farming simulator. I have the mobile Farm Simulator 23 Netflix. I am wondering if the game is supposed to pause when I don’t actively have the app on my screen. When I move out of the app everything stops i.e. crops growing, ai workers everything. Is this normal? It seems as though it will take many continuous hours/days of my device being on and open to accomplish anything.

Then speed up time *thumbsup*
Been playing WAAAAY to many hours - PC with Logitech G27
