Zip file mods not showing up [solved]

I created a "mods" folder in the FS25 game files and none of the mods in the folder show up in game, is there a step I'm missing?
NOTE: this applies to the mod hub website and other non Giants mods websites.

The "mods folder" should actually have been created automatically when the game was launced for the first time. If you had to create it manually then I'm guessing you are looking at the wrong location of the FarmingSimulator2025 folder.

Does the FarmingSimulator2025 folder where you created the mods folder contain other files and folders like log.txt, game.xml, gameSettings.xml, inputDevices, shader_cache? If not then you definively are in the wrong Folder.

The FS25 folder is the only one currently on the drive im not seeing log.txt but there is dataS.gar

Then you are looking at the wrong folder.

But since the subject line of the topic was changed to "[solved]" I guess you now have managed to find the right folder now, correct?
