Not by rolling - but if you drive ALL over the field, there will come 0 weeds - just like in FS22...W1der wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 12:21 pm There is a bug in there somewhere ... for sure
This is how the weed status after rolling looked like ... Ai did the first part and I did the last part myself and as you can see the result is quite different![]()
Field 91: I did the rolling myself
Field 92,92: AI did most part of the rolling directly after seeding (green area).
You can even see my tire tracks actually helped against the weed
Not sure if it´s supposed to be possible to make the field 100% weed free just by rolling![]()

So ... I will make a roller out of tires and get rid of all the weeds ...
Still no use of the AI as they don´t leave tire marks ...

Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
Lime no longer applies for 3 years. After the first year it's bonus will reduce, after the second year it will reduce even more. If you want 100% bonus in FS25 you need to lime EVERY year.
There are other scenarios where you cannot get 100% bonus. Crops which regrow cannot gain a "mulch" bonus for example.
I'm not sure you can even get grass back up to 100% after first sowing, maybe if you harvest, mulch, roll it? But I don't think the mulcher will work, if it doesn't just turn the grass into "tillage".

Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
I believe you need to roll grass after each harvest with the grass roller. Those are different rollers then the rollers you use after seeding. But I'm not 100% sure if it's still working like FS22 ATM.
Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
Isn't power tools the same? That one is already on modhub. Or what is the difference if I may ask? I've seen YT videos of people setting up fields with a window, stages etc. Don't know if it was PowerTools that did that or just Console commands.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 2:12 am Really wishing easy dev controls would have dropped by now.. this would all be a lot easier to test that way.
Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
Herbicide will cost yield drops, because it it toxic.RODHA wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 11:36 am Ok. My last try was to keep everything else the same but to get rid off the weeds by a hoe instead of spraying them with herbicide. And I get 100% yield bonus. That was only on one of my fields. So, I was convinced that the weeding method made a huge difference. But then I noticed the other fields showed 97% yiled bonus instead of 87% even though I didn't do anything differently on them. So, I guess back to square one which is "I have no idea"![]()
One thing though, I absolutely and completely hate the pallet handling physics of this game. Giants managed to get it just about ok somewhere in the middle of 22 but now... I mean come on. I have been playing this game since 15 and this is literally the worst version they released. Even worse than 19. It has been over a decade these guys are making this game. How do they even manage to mess it up like that. So frustrating.
By the way, PÖTTINGER 12400 is the best weeder.
Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
Herbicide doesn’t cause yield drops, quite the opposite. Is that actually in game?
Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
As I recall, yes.. Weeds that have been sprayed gives better yield than weeds full of life - but it's best to weed/hoe, then there is no "spraying-penalty".

Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
I am seeing Lime Levels effecting yield. Which is different from fs22.
Lime Level 3 - Lime just applied - 100% yield
Lime Level 2 - Yield decreased
Lime Level 1 - Yield decreased more
Lime level 0 - Needs Lime applied.
Lime Level 3 - Lime just applied - 100% yield
Lime Level 2 - Yield decreased
Lime Level 1 - Yield decreased more
Lime level 0 - Needs Lime applied.
Re: 87% max yield bonus issue
Correct, like mentioned earlier in this topic after you lime the field first harvest 15% bonus, 2nd harvest 10% and 3rd harvest 5%, after that you need to lime again. (Each 3 year)
