Hi All
Anyone know where the enableDoF command has gone? It worked before the update now it's not in the command list at all with the latest version (1.5.0.1).
Also why is there no option either in settings or the config file to permanently disable DoF?

I've also noticed this command has disappeared after patch 1.5. I've checked game.xml which has a setting <dof>true</dof> which has no effect whatever I type between the tags.
I've notice an entry in log.txt "Depth-of-Field Quality: Default". Also I can't remember where but I read that with graphics set to Ultra means that the DOF option in the advanced settings disappears. However, today I tried all the basic settings Low through to Ultra and none of them have DoF as an option in advanced settings. I can't be positive but I'm sure it was there when I first set up FS25.
I've found 2 commands:
gsDepthOfFiieldSetFarParams
gsDepthOfFieldSetNearParams

I've had a play with the 2 commands I mentioned above.
Using gsDepthOfFiieldSetFarParams 0.0 10000 14000 makes the distant trees come into focus. The other command I can't seem to get to do anything.
Then everything reverts to a default setting when restarting. Also, the middle distance still seems out of focus in places after using my settings above. I'm wondering if this is actually down to LOD setting rather than DOF.

Noticed this too, anyone know a workaround?
The third person DOF is so bad. There should be a real graphic setting toggle to disable this.
Now you can't even turn it off with dev commands.

Think default is gsDepthOfFiieldSetFarParams 0.4 1000 1400
Increasing the values and you can remove the DoF to be visible but every time you change view or vehicle it reverts back.
The new values are still there but its not using them after view is changed and it reverts back to default. Guessing this is a bug.

Its Giants once size fits all perfomance change ( to ensure higher FPS on console's) as the same problem is occuring with the 'circler of death' foliage draw distances, changing values whether in the Advanced Graphic Settings or by xml makes no difference whatsoever.

Well this is an admin console command that have worked since fs21 and worked until this patch.
Very much looks like a bug. DoF do not give you more frames, it's just a Post Effect to put distant blur on a already rendered scene.

The mod "additional game settings" just released. This has an option to enable/disable DOF. Haven't tested it (yet) but just wanted to let you guys know
