Is it possible to raise the fog base in Giants Editor?

Post by MoslessNeo »

My map, like some of other modders, has very high terrain. Above 100 (133 on average in my case).
Opening Giants Editor 10.3, I noticed that the fog is integrated with the "SUN".

:confusednew: Can someone from the internal development team of the engine tell us if it is possible to "raise" the fog layer?
Otherwise, I will have to change the entire map's topography to make it lower.

The topography of my map is still from FS17, where the Giants Engine 7 used a 24-bit DEM file. Over time, it transitioned to an 8-bit grayscale format, and now it has undergone a resolution change.

There have been many transformations along the way.

I chose to apply a technique to lower the terrain level by darkening the pixels while preserving the topography.

I didn’t modify the environment.xml because the other maps already released for FS25 had no changes, and their DEM files were all "low".
