Game Time

Post by sweet250 »

I'm having this strange issue when it comes to slowing the game down. I've set the game to run a 28 day month, but it continues to run each month as 1 day. I have tried with both settings set at 28 days and showing and not showing the month, but the game continues to run 1 day per month. Does anyone have any ideas on how to change this? What good is this game if each day is a full month long in game time? How do I slow this down, because I'm only playing a game and would like to enjoy it.

How do I slow the game clock down to run a longer month when the regular settings don't work?

Is there something that I'm missing?

Why is this happening, and is there a fix?

I'm also wondering if this is just a BUG in the game that has been reported but continues to be unresolved?

If you change the days per month this will not start instantly but in the next month (or quarter?)

When the game went from one month to the next continuously after 2 game days in a row it make things confusing because you never know when and if it will go into the settings that you first set to play at. You can't plan around the game settings taking effect at some future time, when you expect them to start when you first set them. But after 2 days into the game being processed as 2 months, I wasn't sure it would start running on the settings I had chosen, and that is what makes things confusing for me.

Shouldn't the game be running based on the settings one chooses from the start?

To me this can't be just a bug, but an error in the way the game program was written. Someone created this issue inside the billion lines of code and it needs to be corrected, otherwise the settings are useless.

It doesnt need to be corrected , it works as intended. Month length only changes at the beginning of a season. The game defaults to start in Aug

Next time when you are about to start on a new map, then set the settings you want on the new map, on the old map, that should then transfer to the new map. Hope it makes sense.

I guess my problem is I like starting in the Spring-time because there is nothing in the fields.
