2 problems....... (Big X and Deutz 7545 RTS)

Post by TeeSee64 »

I have found 2 problems in the 2013 version of the game (patch installed)

1- When I hire a worker for the deutz 7545 RTS with the corn header attached and unfold, the corn header folds. When the corn header was folded already it dont unfolds. This means that you need to push the unfold button (X) very quickly because the hired worker starts moving.

2- I can not attach a trailer to the Krone Big X 1000. In the shop it says that I can attach a trailer, but this isnt true. I have tried all the trailers in the game, but no one is suitable to attach to the Big X.

I hope that someone can help me with these 2 problems?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem in that I can not attach a trailer to the Krone Big X 1000. I also have tried all the trailers in the game, but none will attach to the Big X.
Does anybody have any help/advice for this?

Thanks in advance.

The Krampe Big Body 500 also works, but its pretty small though compared to the rest. 17500 load capacity.

I find it faster to just hire a worker to drive the Big X and then just manually drive a big trailer (like the agroliner semi) along side of it. The workers will stop when your trailer fills up and stay put until you get back.

Actully I don't believe the Big X only being able to hook up to the trailers with dolly is a bug. I think that it was overlooked as a design flaw from 2011. How the trailers attach is the problem. The big x only has one type of attacher, while 2011 had 2 attach points there were only 3 tippers and all of them attached the same. Now there are alot more tippers and trailers to pick from in 2013 and this I believe was an oversight.

If you look closely you notice that all single axle tippers have a low connection point and all multi axle tippers have a high connection point. The rear connection point on the tippers is always a low connection point.

Most vehicles have a high and low connection point but some only have a high (like the Stieger) and some only have a low (like BigX).

If you take this into consideration it's easy to see what can connect to what.

One I didn't bet on was the 40m tow behind sprayer which only has a low connection so I can't use it with my Stieger :(

I hear ya there. I was really surprised when my huge Stieger couldn't pull a tiny little trailer, until I realized it was a low connector.

on the 7545, if you hit X after hiring a worker, it will unfold the cutter and the hired driver will work no problem.
Can you believe that I played FS2011 on hard for years and never used fertilizer?

Only to learn that fertilizers double the yield in FS2013 AND FS2011!

True story!

Confirmed, this is an acceptable workaround.
