It says in the description that this fertilizes while it plants. Is this just flavor text or do you not need to fertilize when using it?

It does NOT fertilize. Don't waste time trying, I tested it, I only get half yield if I don't fertilize seperately.
None of the sowers fertilize in this game. I guess they just copied that info from some farming magazine or something

When I first started playing I didn't buy anything unless I knew exactly how it worked, but either way I would save the game before every major purchase. Saved myself a lot of headaches that way.

A quick and easy way to find out what works how, start a new game, exit, find the savegame folder and edit the savegame and give you how many money you now wish, then go back and try it all out.. Thats the fastest way to find out how it all works..

Or you can check the actual product on the web. You will find that it is the Amazone Cayena 6001C that fertilises. The in-game description is a copy and paste of both models for some reason.

I have not had time or the $ to test this out yet. But do you need the front liquid fertilizer tank on to make it work? They are made buy the same brand. Amazone FT 1001.

No, there is no way to make this sower fertilize. All you can do is sow and then manually fertilize
