new user- completely clueless

hi this is my 1st time playing farming simulator.
Do i need to feed my chickens with anything? if so what and how
I know i need to feed my sheep but again with what and how?
i keep getting the tasks to transport stuff and cut grass, i bought a mower, one that attaches to tractor, but the task always ends before i can get to the destination how do i solve this?
i also seen a youtube video where it said you can jump from locations on your map, where they brought up a full screen version of the pda is this possible and how do you do it?
What are all the buildings for on my farm? i know a little on is for hay but what do i do with it

Sorry all for being so clueless, i did the tutorials but that only shows you hoe to use your machines, none of the other stuff. Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks

You do not need to feed chicken.

Sheep must be fed with grass or special mixed food.

dont need to feed the chickens
grass clippings is what sheep eat
you have 10 minutes to get to the spot to start the mission
hit esc on the top make sure it says vehicles and then clik on either a tractor or harvester icon and it will take you there.
keep watching youtube videos. find the ones where they are just playing and watch.
