Grass growth

Even at real time, I think grass grows back too fast...I want grass to regrow once a month

How can I do this? Is there a video on youtube (or any other site) that shows and explains how?

once a month? how often do you cut the grass at your house?

maybe having it set to be ready to cut once a week ingame

Set your mowers to cut it quarter height, so it takes four times as long to grow to full height.

I ploughed my field 7 grass, took ages. Put corn in instead. But I just remembered I have seen some pensioners trimming the edges of the grass with scissors. Now that would take longer to cut it all.

The grass regrowing quick around the edges of all fields is good. As a new starter or using a fresh map it's a good money earner. I've had 5 truck loads of grass from around the field edges and fields 1, 7, 40, 39 are especially good for this. Then sell it at the bio and create a small fortune. The Lizard (variation of the original) creates $50,000 per bucket load. 5 loads of grass equates to quite a number of bucket loads. This then creates money to invest in other fields, crops (yes even grass), machinery etc...... Cut down the field edge grass for long periods and you cut down the income.
