You must have to feed all them cows every 5 minutes.
That is a lot of cows.

for a thousand cows it would take 2,000,000 litres of TMR feed to fill their trough for 6 days. way too much work for me. 80 cows is plenty for me along with 200 sheep and 20 chickens. there is no limit on the amount of cows you can own. on sheep it would be 6400 that would take you from 0 to 2000 litres at one time. with chickens I believe there is 50 some slots for eggs.

@pigpen... I think the formula is 100 chickens will produce 60 eggs in 1 week. So I stop at 100. Sheep, I buy 75 to get 1 pallet of wool from my round of chores. Cows I by 50. and 25 of pigs, cattle,

There are logical limits on many thing. For example I have seen posted that you cannot have more 160 axles divided among all vehicles. Weird limit...but I digress.

With livestock you can climb pretty high. Since they don't die if you do not feed them there is probably no limit until you hit the limit of your processor to compute the needs and render the images.

There is a limit to the render of images of animals displayed no matter how many you buy. Someone posted the actual numbers.

Where have you found that 100 chickens produce 60 eggs a week? Week must be day :). I started few days ago new game on hard, and got 200 chickens. I get about 150 to 180 eggs a day. That is about 1xxx to 12xx a week.

But to get on topic :) i havent found anywhere limitation on how many animals you can have.

I have mis-read the info. It was 1 egg per chicken per day. with a max of 60 at a time. This is with the default chicken coop. Once the egg count goes to 60 no more eggs gets produced until these are collected.
I did use the EggsPalletCage mod to get 214 eggs at a time.

Some questions

How can I improve up to 100% the cows in US map?

How can I collect the milk, which tank may I buy?

Where can I sell the milk?

Thanks

to get the cows at 100% you need straw bedding, collect straw with a baler or forage wagon. you will need a mixer. for the pull mixer I put in 2 bales of hay a bale of straw and fill the rest with silage making 18000 litres of TMR. as far as milk sell points on the Westbridge map the milk company sits between the BGA and the dealership close to field 14 not sure if there is a trigger to sell milk there, you will need a mod milk trailer. I just wait till midnight.

If youi have alot of cows or planning to, i would get the tmr mixing station. It is far easier and faster mixing for tmr. Instead of having to mix small quantities in the pull behind mixer. the mod is a placeable and works great. i use it constantly for mixing for 500 head of cattle.

on that mixing station do you still have to ferment silage or does the mixer do that?
