Chaff

Chaff can be produced from wheat, barley, canola, corn, grass or straw by using a chopper.

This is exactly how the in game help menu describes chaff....

So i have the BigX (forager) with the disc cutter head(chaff maker), but i cant seem to make chaff from straw, wheat or barley, all ive tried so far, so what am i doing wrong ?

Have it already been cut and in rows of straw??

No, not the straw, does it not get it from when cutting the wheat and barley ?

As far as I can see from the icons in the shop, it looks like you can use the XDisc620 to make chaff from wheat, barley, canola, grass and soybean. You can use the Easycollect 600-2 to put corn into chaff. As far as I found out, it is still not possible to turn straw into chaff in FS17

Im not at my console, but i think the problem was sometimes my Tipper shows an crop icon even though its empty, and that might be why it wouldnt except chaff into it, so it just cut the wheat without doing any more than that, will take a look next time im on
