There is no case ih corn head in the game that fits the 1660, the Capello Quasar F4 is the header to use on this combine. Is this header not showing up in game or were you looking for a case ih header?

Unfortunately there isnt a CaseIH corn head for the 1660. So you have to use the 4 row Capello like the poster said above me. I suppose you could use the NH 6 row if you wanted to, as it should work on the 1660. IRL the 1660 was a 6 row machine, so not sure why Giants didnt put a 6 row in the game for it, because IRL you wouldnt run a 4 row on a 1660, if you did you would have a hard time keeping the rotor full only taking 4 rows at a time, not to mention it would look stupid as all get out, lol.

They can run a 6 row and 20ft table but you won't see them going very fast with either. Power is a rotary combine's best friend.

Edit: At least 2 of the 6-7 small Cases in my area are actually running 30" 4row heads for corn though.

Are they found in the store or in the MODS location? I am looking for any header that works.
Currently I am working COWS with 20 in stock right now with all necessary equipment.

Thanks for the good respond! BTW I had great success with FS 2011 on XP.

They are in the regular store under headers, the 4 row Capello will be the first one on the list. Take your pick, really any one will work in the game, just depends how realistic you want to play and how far you want the unloading auger to reach past the header.

Over in my area too when there were a lot of 1660 and 1680s they would run 4 or 5 row corn headers but for 38" spacing though.

When in the Store, select the combine, and look at the information section - the icon that looks like a puzzle piece lists the recommended headers for that combine.

But I think any header will actually fit to any combine...

Only issues with using too big of a header on smaller harvester:
* Pipe will not be long enough to unload on the go
* Harvester hopper will fill up quite quickly

There is a flaw in the MAC version 4.20 I tried the first one F4 header and a (few others cutters) from the observing in front
of the cutter while turned on but does not cut the corn. The header is lowered and the Harvester
is running and the cutters are functioning. The Forage Harvester with the proper header
designed for the make works flawlessly.

The Case 1660 works find with the grass header.

Hope something can be done to correct the situation.

Thanks again!

the 1660 works fine with the small Russian combine grain header I believe its 7m and the 6m capello corn header. because of money issues I always upgrade my header before my combine.

Yep, the grain head is way to small for a 1660 too, not sure what they were thinking putting a 14ft grain head on it, and not having a 6 row cornhead for it. the 1660 was meant to be a 6 row machine, and you should be running a 20ft grain head on it.

IRL we had a 1460 which was what the 1660 replaced, and we ran a 6 row cornhead and 20ft graintable on our 1460 back in the day. In all honesty you could run a 25ft grain head on a 1660 if you choose too, but a 20 ft'er was what fit best, and allowed you to run with a descent ground speed, anything bigger, and your ground speed would be reduce quite a bit. With our 1460 back in the day I shelled corn and cut beans both around the 3.5 mph, depending on how good the corn and soybean crops were, I could bump the ground speed up to about 4.2 mph, but with good crops 3.5 to 3.8 was the norm for those machines.

Case1370, yeah I thought the same thing. I could've swore the 1660 could handle a 20ft head, and a 6 row corn head.

It's even more fun to run a 6row with double the horsepower......shelling corn at 7mph is amusing.
