I'd rather the next expansion was a bit more game changing. A different animal type, a new crop beyond a standard crop with new equipment to go along. Or for example the bsm classic pack would be game changing for someone wishing for older style farming on a small map as they don't have much atm for older stuff. The fact that we don't have complete brand lines I don't care about. More tractors is more of the same imo and doesn't bring anything new to the game.

^^Bingo^^ More equipment is always welcome but I wouldn't call it "game expansion". Usually the expansion includes a new aspect of the game, a new brand with equipment not already in the game, along with a new map.

Don't worry guys I am still working on the list just right now having to go threw Valtra Translation from Portuguese to English, adding classic tractors also, new crop forms, animals are also presenting a slight problem due to looking theme up. New map forms and sizes. This is just one of many parts at the moment took well into a week to get that list together working on the second part. I do agree they need add Classic tractors to the game and a small map to follow just getting the list together, translated and sources for information, things of this nature.

What exactly is your list supposed to accomplish? Are you going to make these available as mods? Or does Giants owe you a huge favor or something? I'm confused... :confusednew:

Pardon me, but I found your comment to be rather rude. In posting a list of what he would like to see, I don't think that there's anything wrong with putting out there the things he'd like to see. It's no different than the other 20 billion posts for dlc requests. Do I think we need all of that stuff? Most certainly not, but he's entitled to his own opinion, and has the right to post his ideas here. Just as you have the right to make this rather rude and sarcastic comment. As far as i'm concerned, the only issue with his post is that it's on the wrong board, and probably belongs in the off-topic or modding section. But once again, that's my opinion, and I have the right to hold that just the same way every single other person on this forum does. No matter how arrogant, foolish, or lop-sided others might find it to be.

Random thoughts... you can skip this part...
Yeah, some new activity would be great. After all, even with new tractors, planting and harvesting are still just the same process over and over again.

One thing I thought would be fun is to be able to visit the insides of buildings. So when you go to the shop to get a tractor, you actually go to the shop, walk inside, and interact with a salesperson... not just hit P.

I'd also love to see improvements with AI traffic and the pedestrians... stuff to make the game more immersive and realistic. I'm not talking "GTA", where you can beat on people, but maybe have traffic be physics based like AI-driven farm equipment.

And the big one... VR. The game already has IRTrack support; I'd love to go to the next level, to be able to slip on my Rift and really be on the farm.

I guess that means I'm not really thinking of expansions, so much as improvements to the core game experience.
So expansions:

Start by giving us much more control of our cameras. Allow us to move the camera to trailers, or even set the camera in a fixed point (relative to the world) as we drive. (A drone camera might be fun.)

smaller tractors, such as my Massey Furgeson 2600. That thing only had 45 horses, but we graded our property, mowed fields, and built roads with that thing.
On that note, it had a box scraper with rippers on the back - something I haven't seen in Farm Sim yet. The box scaper could level ground, and the rippers obviously ripped it up. Even without other changes, that could move and level silage and piles of grain, and the rippers could be used as a plow.

How about really small tractors, like a garden tractor? Sure, it only has a 1 meter deck, but those things would be great for mowing the yard around the farmhouse.

Snow, complete with snow blowers, would be fantastic - as would seasons in general.

Smaller trailers; something like a 12 and 18 foot utility trailer would be fantastic.

Dump trucks.

Smaller semi trailers that can tow a second trailer (ie: road trains.)

Belly dumpers. I pass belly dumpers every day, usually a semi truck hauling two belly dumpers in a road train.

ATV's: both ride-on ATC's like the Can-Am Outlander and utility carts like the Polaris Ranger.

Orchards: citrus, apples, other fruit trees.

There are also other considerations for actual farming: spraying for pests, irrigation, and dealing with soil composition (crop rotation, anyone?) Maybe the growing process takes longer, and in the meantime you need to check the condition of a crop to see if it needs more water, to be sprayed for bugs, or to be fertilized - and it's different for each crop. In exchange, you get more yield for the crop.

Storms and other events that could cause failed crops. Again, with "danger mode" turned on, crops yield more income, but with increased risk.
