What are you doing?
What is the difference between this thread being in the general discussion or in off-topic?
A forum is always administered by modderators. If they see some thread fit in another sub forum then they are entitled to move it.
Let them do their jobs. What is this extreme raction for?
And Lefe's reaction is completely incomprehensible and way too exaggerated imo.
This thread has always been a great thread. Lefe managed to keep us updated all the time.
We have shared a lot of good things. And all of a sudden everybody goes crazy, why? Because the thread is moved to another sub-forum.
I genuinely wonder what is the reason of this extreme reaction?
While I can agree with you to a certain degree on some points, I can understand other peoples reactions. Why after 6 months and over 1500 replies does a thread "discussing" "mods" not belong in General Discussion or fit into the Modding section? Any time there's a new Mod or Map released it pops up in both GD and Modding, not mention the countless threads in the Modding forum pertaining to WIP. While i do feel this is more of a WIP topic, its been here long enough and is a very popular thread. So I believe the over reaction is more of a "why after all this time" rather than it just being moved.

True reasons but I can also understand the logic of don_apple. Because if you are in any sort of computer business you've to create and maintain a logical layout in your work. That helps a lot.

This thread is not directly related to the game or it's functions. It is of course related but not directly.
Besides this thread is here for a very long time. Anybody who is interested in BsM mods already knows it and probably already subscribed to it.
So, I really think the location wouldn't make a lot of difference for this thread.

A good point *thumbsup* But still the reactions were a bit too intense imho.
At the end of the day this is a forum and it needs a logical layout.
If you start letting this layout to degrade in time you would end up in a chaotic forum order.
"Why after all this time?" is a good question though :hmm: I don't know.
I just hope this thread stays alive.

^^Agree 100%^^ That's why I'm going to keep posting relevant things to this thread so it doesn't get locked.

I kinda hoped we could pick these up with our hands rather than using a skid steer/loader. It would certainly make "strapping down" vehicles a lot easier. I don't much want to have to take a separate piece of equipment with me to load/unload. Image

Apology accepted :hi:

Sorry for causing a bit of a stir here, I guess I didn't realize how attached people have become to this thread and it being in the 'General discussions' forum.

To avoid such situations in the future I would appreciate it if people could pay some attention to the Board rules before posting, which for example mention 'Before posting a contribution, decide which sub-forum fits best. In case of doubt, a moderator may be questioned.'.

Trying to adhere to these rules will not only make our lives as moderators easier, but will ensure that this forum will stay a healthy communitiy where people interested in the Farming Simulator games can help each other and share their opinions in civilized discussions.
Gruß/Regards,
