You can get a placeable silo that holds grass though

Sheep can take hay, they always have. And you can wrap hay bales and store them. Now not all sheep feeding points accept bales, but I know for sure that TVTOF does.

Not corn, but soybeans. It's because the soybean planting period is extended an extra transition with the Midwest geo
So I'm assuming the wheat or barely wouldn't be done until mid summer then if soybeans would work but corn wouldn't
I stand corrected... after looking at the chart again, it looks like corn would work too. Just have to make sure you get harvested, cultivated, and seeded in the same transition (early summer)

Note: With the Paraguay GEO, you can get double crops as well.

Yes going off the chart it looked like it would work if everything was done just right I just wasn't sure if the wheat/barely would be done in time I didn't know how the fall planting thing worked

don't need to wrap hay bales as Rahkin has said.

Hay and Straw bales do NOT rot under cover. Only heaps do. (grass always rots)

Are there any published numbers when it comes to consumption of the various items needed to support animals? I am afraid I am going to run short of straw and who know what else before I have a chance to harvest my winter wheat.

So, does anyone know how much of each ingredient we need to put into the Hay loft before winter? Like, does one cow need one bale of straw for the winter season? Does this change with each season, so they eat more int the summer?

Boy, the seasons mod just made this a completely different (strategy and planning) game! Thanks, I like the complexity!

352,000l (88 bales) wasn't enough for 100 to last a year but luckily I planted again in autumn which covered the gap.

Not terribly complete and painful to assimilate. I didn't find anything about the seasons changes and how that impacts the consumption. With any luck this detail might make it to the online manual, but I'm tempted to run some tests of my own.
