Seasons and Snow on console

Post by niggle44 »

Now that us lowly console players have Seasons, maybe we can get some proper snow clearance equipment :hmm:

What's wrong with the silage leveler? If we do get a snow plow, it'll do the same thing that the silage leveler does.

After an fs update some time ago the snowblower mods doesn't work as they should.. The "unload here" funktion is broken. So if someone won't fix that issue the snowblowers won't do any good on console.

A blade that we can angle side to side would do just fine.

But it should be possible to make a plow that has the same function as a windrower but it "windrows" snow instead and still looks like a snowplow. Then the snow would go to one side.

Exactly, some one should be able to make it fairly easy if they have some modding experience. I'm gonna take contact with some modders and pitch the idea *thumbsup*

I have been looking into this and it seems that for this to work realismus need to change something in the properties of the snow to alow it to be windrowed. Because I opened a windrower. Xml and dint find anything about the "fruits" it can windrow. So I guess that it lies in the properties of the grass hay etc etc to be allowed to be windrowed. I'm going to keep looking in to this but I will need to get help with the actual modding. My first test will be to get a normal windrower to work with snow and then take it from there. If someone wants to help me it would be appreciated!

I believe the snow was given the same properties as chaff. I guess I've never tried to windrow chaff.

Yea but then it would be possible to change something in the xml or something so it can be windrowed.

Hi! My first post on the forum!
I'm a console player and I would really like a some kind of adapter that would allow you to attach snow plows to the front of the trucks especially the in game MAN truck really would look cool with one!
I don't know if it's possible to make an adapter like that but if it's possible I would really appreciate one!
Thanks a lot!
