In the meantime, the Italian motor company Fiat was expanding its agriculture division. In 1977, it bought Hesston, a hay equipment company, and Fiat gained access to the U.S. market. Ford and Sperry New Holland merged in 1986, and that company was acquired by Fiat in 1991. That same year, Fiat sold Hesston to AGCO.
From a quick google

How about having a large front wheel and put a county badge on it.
County 1884 TW based on a ford tw 35 (I think)
County 1474 based on the 9700
County 1474tw based on the tw25

^^ You don't need new potato equipment. The in-game stuff is fine.

just because it works doesnt mean it isnt time for something new!....The way its done in game currently just doesnt reflect the way its done around here, and i personally would love to get my hands on the new potato equipment, always bugged me that there weren't windrowers, and American style potato equipment in game.

I don't mind new machinery if it's something that changes or gives me options to my farming strategy.

However, I've always felt that the general game mechanics needs a "DLC" in itself. I feel we need more "build up" or "rags to riches". What I mean is this.

When you start, you only have a truck and money. You pick your farm property out of 3 or 4 available. The house is small. It might need renovations. You have no barns/sheds/shelter for tractors. You can still buy tractors/equipment but leaving them out in the open on rainy days increases wear.
The house and property gives you some collateral for getting a loan. Only about 100k.
When you upgrade the house, you get more collateral for loan.
Perhaps the more you upgrade the house, the better the interest rate gets.

Your livestock farms have to be bought/built. If you build them you can place them on your property. If you buy them, they remain where you bought them.

Need more buy/selling of commodities.
There needs to be a volatile market for logs. And there needs to be different demands for logs at different lengths.
If lumber could be implemented, the lumber materials could be used to build things or simply to sell.

It's things like this I would like to see before adding new equipment.

Regardless, the two proposed DLC/Mods are intriguing. I'll likely be buying them in support.
Whoa! They come with back hoes?!

This isn't a request thread. It was a thread about what DLC's were proposed by the modding groups

You are digging your own grave Fred :biggrin2:
Never say never in FS. It just doesn't work.
I'm pretty sure Deere will come. One way or another.
To FS17 o a future version. Doesn't matter but it will come like Claas will come too.
These are not matters of if but when.

Could we get some news about what is going on or is something bad happening?
