PC Picker accuracy?

Post by BreadedVirus »

Before I go drop a few hundred dollars or parts for my PC case, how accurate is the PC Picker website when it comes to parts compatibility?

It's normally pretty reliable. What parts are you buying? If its a CPU just look up the socket type and make sure it's the same as your motherboard, if it's ram look up what your motherboard can handle, if it's a cooler, find the measurements and measure in your case to make sure you have enough room, etc etc

I built my latest PC using the Partpicker site and despite often messing with settings and going back to check manually for compatibility problems and never found the site wrong.
