Dont think we have hazard lights on ps4

I should make sure we're talking about the same thing. I'm assuming you mean the beacon lights. On XB1 they show up in the help menu the upper left of the screen.

I've used the a keyboard on the XB1, but only some commands work.

Hazards work on console aswell using the keyboard. @redglasses try the basic controls with a keyboard it should work. A standard USB keyboard is all I'm using. It's about 8 years old so not even Windows 8 or Windows 10 native and definitely kept a USB 3.0

Microsoft is implementing adapt keyboard and mouse for xbox, it is still not possible but before the end of the year to be available on xbox along with support for mods is the new Microsoft for consoles, this is 100% confirmed by Phil Spencer Executive Vice President of Gaming in Microsoft. open that wait for the support of mods new console will be interesting to have mods either paid or free but it is a fact all that before finishing 2018

Keyboard already works on xbox

Xbox one has some keyboard recognition. Mouse not so much as mouse support isn't implemented yet. Not all keyboard functions work but some do I've tested this myself with general controls found online

It's good to have a keyboard and mouse sometimes. Personally, all I want is for giants to be a bit more fair to console users and start putting mods up that use scripts (slow bees for example) that's the one thing that lets the whole fs game down hugely on console

You are trying to rebuild your console in to a PC just to discover that there are some limits?

Did you know that you can connect a PC to a TV screen and play games on it using a gamepad (with MANY other controller options available)?

I do not wanna think it is true but something tells me that developing a game for both PC and Consoles is actually holding the PC platform back due to the limitations of the consoles ...

Now that I got that of my mind ...

On consoles ... can you remap your buttons?

When I was playing FS on my PC using the XB1 gamepad, I went through a lot of remapping the buttons, so that I was able to play the game WITHOUT having to use the keyboard at all.
Doing this with some thought put in to it ... there are plenty of button combinations to use that covers all the original game commands and a lot of extra commands used for specific mods to go on top of that!

Also, if GIANTS would ad "hold" and "double click" as an option when mapping buttons ... there would be more than enough possibilities!

Best practice (if possible) is to remap everything according to your own liking ... that way the inputs become intuitive and you do not have to struggle with "remembering" them ...

^^ingame you cannot, Xbox has an application that allows you to remap buttons on your Xbox controller, it is pre-downloaded onto the console
