Except for the keyboard ... I do not need that!
I'm most impressed with those huge books! One is called Mammoth Hunter, if I'm reading that right?

You can still play this game on steam without being connected to the internet. You just have to click start in offline mode on the steam pop-up and then the game will continue to load. The only difference when you are offline is you won't get achievement credit.

well.. I made it work.. kind of.. I hard wired so I could install my 5G wireless usb card.. now I'm debating if its worth a 2 hour round trip for built in wireless when this card seems to do the trick.. hmm.. on one hand I paid for wireless capabilities.. but on the other there is the time and expense of driving to the store when I am sure this card works as well as the built in one would.. not sure what to do.. what do u guys think

I would make the trip just on principle. Computers aren't cheap and you deserve to get what you paid for it

while I whole heartedly agree that I deserve to get what I paid for in this case principle isn't free or even cheap.. the vehicle that would be used for this 2 hour commute is a giant ford expedition that needs a tune up something fierce.. u can literally watch the gas gauge go down on it.. on 1 hand this computer set us back just short of $600 and I really do want what was advertised.. on the other its going to eat up $30 just to get to the store and back.. as it stands I got a gaming pc for under $600 unless I make this trip which to be honest we cant afford at the moment.. this pc kinda put the funds short and if I go I will have to wait to get the game which is the whole reason I bought the pc lol.. on top of that the $45 wireless card I'm using was just collecting dust as I bought it for my old pc which I overheated trying to play games on lol.. even on principle I think I might be the only one losing out as they will just return the unit to the manufacture as defective and get their money back.. the manufacture produces these things in bulk so they r not really out any money.. just me.. I'm really torn cause I will admit that I was really looking forward to having the built in wifi but this thing is working sooooooo well even as is.. its crazy fast comparted to what ive been used to lol

Well i understand all that for sure. If you like it as is and it seems like the best thing for you is to keep it there's really no wrong decision here :)

so I was playing around with this thing a bit and it seems pretty nice by my standard at any rate and I have a simple question.. how do the graphics in American truck simulator stack up against fs17? I put the graphics as high as they would go playing the demo and it ran it like a boss.. better than my xbone does games by far lol.. beautiful detail and no noticeable fps drops or anything (I don't know how to monitor these things but as far as I could tell there was no visible loss at all).. I technically got the game already but its on disk (she surprised me by picking it up on the way home from work) so we have to return it tmmw and download it from here instead but I'm excited and wanna know what to expect :biggrin2:

Curious ... when will you get this sorted and have FS17 installed on your PC?

I feel sorry for you ... (I know how I would feel in your situation).
