4x No Mans Land (or Western Wilds that isn't perfectly flat). Surround should be hilly or mountains, not flat

You come to Wales and go to dinas Mawddwy you'll get 90 degree slopes (give or take). They use tractors with twin wheels and chains. There are slopes that are dangerous on other farms as well like on ours. You get used to sliding to the bottom in the end

They don't start from flat to 90 degree, there is a gradient to the 90 degree

You are thinking the wrong way. You need to look at the tangent line or hypotenuse not the bases.
Edit: also you are only thinking in triangles not hyperbolas. It is an arch curve not a straight line. Also don't take the 90 degrees literally. I'm sure he isn't out there measuring everything.
