I play without any reduction in games as I try for economic challenges, so cutting the expenses feels like cheating, but repairing often and early can cust the costs considerably too.. Always repairing at 5% compared to repairing at 100% damage cuts the cost with around 80%.

1.6 has made it way worse. 2 hours on the hour meter since the update and my tractor looks like it was sandblasted.

Are there any shop mods available yet on console that allows you to repaint equipment? Hate having to go to the dealer every time I want to repaint something.

Anybody know if crashing/misuse effects paint condition? Or is it more linear? Pretty ridiculous they expect me to pay nearly $60k for a paint job that won’t last more than an hr.

Paint wear should be long and drawn out over years not months or hours. Why they would make it quicker makes no sense

Turn off dirt in the settings, it will also turn off wear.

The age and operating hours of a vehicle/machine are included in the calculation of the repair costs. Version 0.2.0.0 – reduced painting costs (customizable in lua) – Wear over time increases more slowly (adjustable in lua) – Damage points added to a vehicle or machine over time are now actually reduced. In the previous version 0.1.0.0 the damage was only adjusted for the output / query. As a result, after the update to version 0.2.0.0 of the mod, the damage values are probably higher than before with mod version 0.1.0.0 I recommend repairing all vehicles and machines once before installing the new version 0.2.0.0. A vehicle/machine does not get damage so quickly. I recommend to repair all vehicles and machines once before you install the new version 0.2.0.0.
