All good, but yes I'm talking about the update or re-release lol I'm hoping it gets sorted out as when the hazard light topic came up we found several button combinations on consoles we could use

Sadly won't be for consoles as it's too much to retexture...I was hopeful as we own one

Stupid excuse. You're doing real farming when you could be fake farming? I thought I taught you better.

EDIT: yeah, now it is. I was hoping something cool was going to happen.

vondeylenfarms wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 8:00 pm There has to be some key combinations for consoles that aren't being used...right? I don't care if I have to hit 3 buttons at same time if it means it works
That's what I do now on PC, use the L2 + R2 button on my Dualshock 4 Controller then other buttons to do various functions added by mods like Guidance Steering, Easy Autoload, Field Service Trailer, Follow Me etc. I even added options to open the radio, change stations, skip songs in the MP3 folder, as well as allow me to turn on/off my hazard lights and also raise/lower front and rear tools at the same time (useful when mowing). So there is definitely plenty of scope to add bindings for Consoles, the problem is Giants doesn't seem to publish anywhere the list of how the buttons are written/coded for the console input files. This is why TheSuBBie and the other Mapper's Paradise Team have had the issue in the map.

I have it and used it on the ps4. It worked great, but you cannot change what the buttons do as far as I know.

I believe that for some combinations on the console to work, we would have to enter the silo, as if it were a vehicle.

I normally don't comment on another modder's work. Because I also make mods I think that would be bad manners. But for one time I'm going to throw my principles out of the window..

Let's just say there is a reason the mod is 97.5Mb... I'm kinda surprised that it got through Giants' testing like this. I just had a look at the textures and they are not very efficient. Regardless whether the mod is for console or PC, those textures should be redone in my opinion. And yes, that would be a lot of work. Texturing is generally the most time consuming part of making a mod. Before I start a war here, I'm not saying it's a bad mod but just that it's not optimised. For an example of an optimised mod, look at the 40 series by BSM with 23Mb for 4 tractors, a nice amount of detail and a lot of configurations.

Just my two cents :smileynew:
