Thread getting a lot of visits. hope u guys get it going. apart from xml lights errors and tex format nags my log is clean.script gets controls it needs directly so look through your bindings to eliminate or reconfigure stuff. take gas and brake off trigger and put it on the stick in bindings then mouse will climb stick will steer fwd/bck

Also I put all 3 axis on analog inputs now so I may just be able to calculate X Y Z forces in real time. As of now the script applies an angular velocity but I was thinking maybe do it with actual torque forces. It wouldn't simulate torque to correct because of the coaxial rotors cancelling it out but it would be calculated in real time based on input.

zippyo what you are doing is awesome. I was not on Giants forum yet this is the first thing made me worth to register.
Tested your heli. The look, the sound, the wait to start up the eninge, etc everyting is great. Reminds me my childhood watching these Kamovs next to fields. They were turning above our house with a great noise.

problem at me is that heli does not have separate control assignments. With this at my tests tilt forward backward works with the joystick or keys, but not tilting left or right. Yaw is working fine.
also what I experienced that at different games the mouse lift reaction is sliglthly different. I was suspicous that it might be in connection with the fact that I'm using steering wheel as well and some items might be at conflict.

At some mods I have seen that controls are fully separated - since it's a heli with different requirements than land vehicles (even with different controls on the desk) might it be solved somehow?

Thank You for the kind words. The full roll pitch and yaw controls are still WIP so the beta does not have that functionality yet. I just wrote that code fresh.

I already love it even without those controls. Sprayed fields for an hour today.
maybe it's more dirty then a heli should be :)

Zippyo for quite awhile ive had a fascination with the Hueys used in the Vietnam war and im working on converting one would you be offended if i upload it?

please do. I have it on my list too along with Mi-2 Mi-26 MD500 but not sure if that would ever get the planes off the ground

I am setting aside sum notes on how to go about fixed wing flight as I tackle the last bit of this madness. This was always about aircraft before I found Eisbearg's eye opening Levitator.lua masterpiece. (I would love to touch base with him). Thinking it was black magic I gave up on it initially but since nobody was touching flying in FS19 I figured it's worth a shot.

So hang in there as I finish the heli flight and I will post something about it in a bit

heya, the mod from isnt working for me, tried it with and without the xbox controller. Game loads and i cant switch between current vehicles but cant actually move or activate any of them. Any advice?
