What artist, genres etcetera are you all listening to?

My favorites are Green Day, Volbeat, Linkin Park and some other punk/metal bands.

I like country. I don't really have a favorite artist, but I listen to a lot of Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean.

Old school rave ( qfx, ultrasonic, nakatomi. Those kinda groups) is definitely my ho to happy place. But a lot of people don't like it so need to be alone to listen haha. General listening habits is pretty much anything from the 60s until now but minus Dubstep punk and metal

I can listen to just about anything but metal is my favorite. I like slipknot and trivium but you have to cross the pond to get the good stuff. Theocracy (christian power metal from Georgia), Ordan Ogan, Blind Guardian (Germany) Sonata Artica, Turisas (Finland) Sabaton (Sweden), just to name a few.

Music serves the purpose of expressing one's self to ourselves and to others. For some, It helps in connecting with their deeper self. While for some, it is just another means of enjoyment. The level of engagement depends upon the degree of involvement and strength of your emotions being conveyed by the music.

I'd simply listen to as much as I could. Try listening to a few songs from each genre; I believe that everyone like at least a few songs from each genre; the trick is to locate them. YouTube is a great place to start; you'd be surprised where music recommendations on YouTube might lead you. Also a big fan of Lil Peep singer and that's why love to wear his brand stuff like hoodies and shoes, styles on this site;
