Turning off voice chat in multiplayer

My son is 7 and really enjoys playing farming sim.
He recently asked me if he could play online (which I don’t usually allow him to do) I thought farming simulator would of been different, but unfortunately I heard numerous swear words etc from other users - so I had to turn it off.
I don’t mind him playing online and working with other people on this game, I just want to turn off the voice chat - that way he can enjoy the game sounds etc without the swearing and other stuff I’ve heard on the game. Is there a way of doing this?
