[FS19] Patch 1.2.0 Beta Branch For Windows

Hello everyone,

Since the release of Farming Simulator 19, we have been hard on a patch to correct the most recurring issues.

We’ve just created a beta branch on Windows for you to test this patch before its official release on all platforms.

Please ensure that you backup your save folder from the default branch manually. This beta may prevent you from continuing your gameplay progress if going back to the default branch.

The save folder is located:
C:\Users\[PCNAME]\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2019

How to access to this beta branch?

WIndows and GIANTS DL Users:
https://www.farming-simulator.com/updates.php?fs19_beta

STEAM Users
  • Be sure you have your save file backups
  • Right click on “Farming Simulator 19” in your Steam Library
  • Go into properties
  • Select “Beta” tab
  • Select “patch1.2.0_beta”

Your title will be automatically updated.

Please feel free to give us your feedback with regards to this beta branch. If you encounter issues, please send us an email with your log and DxDiag to bugreport@focus-home.com

Note that this is a beta branch, and you may encounter some issues. If these issues persist, you can always roll back to the default version at any time.

How to roll back to the default branch?
  • Right click on “Farming Simulator 19” in your Steam Library
  • Go into properties
  • Select “Beta” tab
  • Select “NONE - Opt out of all beta programs”
Your title will be automatically updated.

Here are today's patch notes:

ADDED:
  • Landscaping feature
  • Economic difficulty option
  • Support for mapping button combos besides the gamepad trigger buttons
  • In-game voting for mods
  • Combine rpm increase if the combine unloads
  • Selling of potato pallets
  • AI detection of tipped heaps
IMPROVED:
  • AI on angled edges
  • Mapping with devices not recognized by the game
  • Vehicle sounds
  • Combines can now be folded if just a small amount is loaded
  • Tree pickup of log grabs
FIXED:
  • Shading issues in some specific light/viewer combinations
  • Disappearing animals after starting a dedicated server again
  • Horse price issue when selling multiple horses at the same time
  • Egg pallets don’t appear correctly
  • Unlimited food after cleaning in front of a trough
  • The mower BIG M450 can’t be refueled
  • The header NH 3162 Draper 45ft doesn’t work well with NH CR10.90
  • Väderstad Tempo V 8 doesn’t work well in slopes
  • TT Multicultivator 5-in-1 doesn’t work well in slopes
  • Clients have access to all vehicles from all farms
  • Unable to start a dedicated server
  • The camera is desynced from vehicle
  • Wear speed if washing is disabled
  • Issues with combines harvesting multiple fruit types
  • Engine sound in multiplayer
  • AI overtaking to other fields with small working widths
  • AI working width New Holland FDR 600
  • AI turn direction issues with cultivator and sowing machine attached together
  • Bale mounting on Fliegl Butterfly and Fliegl DPW
  • Delayed lowering of pipe for potato harvesters (Ropa Keiler 2, Grimme SE 280)
  • Crash on Mac OS X when saving screenshot

Important:
If your game is updated to 1.2.0, you will only see multiplayer games that are also in 1.2.0.
Thus, you won’t be able to connect to dedicated servers still in 1.1.0.

Thanks a lot for the reported issues during the beta. We have been able to fix some of them and those fixes are now included in the final patch 1.2:
  • [Fixed] Negative selling prices when switching the economic difficulty
  • [Fixed] Economic difficulty is not the same as before the patch so prices can suddenly be vastly different than with 1.1.3
  • [Fixed] Quitting game with gamepad
  • [Fixed] Lua error when switching gamepads
  • [Fixed] Lua error when quitting game after not accepting the tour

Many, many thanks for this Giants!
Just had a quick play around and have some questions about landscaping.
1) Is there an undo option?
2) When I paint or smooth over grass the grass disappears. How do I get it back?
3) Any chance of some text labels for the different paint mode ground types as some look very similar and I'm not sure what the difference is.

And about the economy difficulty - does changing it take some game time for prices to change, or is it instantaneous?

Evening, when is 1.2.0 expected to be released?.

I don't care if it's only the player contracting bug gets fixed, it's literally burning money having empty servers till this is fixed.

Full release should be as soon as the tests are over, so early next week.

2.) Painted grass does not regrow (albeit we might add that in a future patch)

Does "hard" on the economic choice make horses a bit more realistic, i e not 5 000 to 50 000 in just 10 days but a bit longer?
