Spraying and weeding are not the same thing in-game. You need a mechanical weeder.

Are there any news abt following patch?

As they are on top of submitted mods atm and as there are over 200 mods in the queue, I really don't expect any patches before Q2 of 2019.

They usually do a patch before a DLC comes out.
