Cannot Save Spectacle Island

Please help! Found a farm I love, Spectacle Island, but all of a sudden there is a glitch and I cannot save. Cannot access "select"-(garage) or "start"-(save) buttons for xbox one. It happened after I started working the G1 field. I did manually power it down, and also removed the power cable. I checked for updates, there are none for this farm. Can anyone help me? No point in playing anymore if I cannot save progress
