Planting Poplars for Anderson DLC

I have just bought the Anderson DLC and wanted to have a go at everything that is in it including the Bio Baler. So I am about to plant some Poplars.

I use the Guidance Steering mod, which I find every useful for doing things in a straight line but when I press the auto width button for the poplar/tree planter it returns as '0'. So I am looking for the ideal width for poplar rows

Please can someone tell me what is the ideal width apart poplars should be planted. Many thanks in advance.

Whilst I am here, can I ask the same thing for Sugarcane!

Doesn't matter with both if you have a helper they do about 1m apart but if doing yourself plant as close as you can get then u will get more yield! They only grow about 1m high! As for sugarcane the machine will give you the automatic distance just cover all field as normal it grows like grass and about 8ft tall but be warned it takes a while to grow but once harvested you just fertilize and it will grow back automatically

Depends, sometimes multiple times a day.. and other times it has an interval of days.
So only when I have time to work on it.

Wood sell trigger. Maybe it works at both? I haven't tried.

I just did the wood sell trigger and it worked automatically, I tried the biogas heating near the barn on ravenport unloaded and then realized it doesn’t take woodchips, that was an interesting clean up
