I miss the days when the modding section was actually used for modding.

I miss the days when people weren't so entitled. The modders owe us nothing.

I think there is nothing wrong with the proposition. so also mod makers get an idea of what people want. These are not the basics but suggestions

It's not the actual requests, as the less interesting or not workable requests (eg console mods requiring scripts) can be ignored.

I believe it's the number of new threads individuals are starting just to request mods. Perhaps the moderators have a way to collate them all into a single thread, maybe even with a seperate thread just for console players' suggestions.

And then interested modders can easily read over them and ignore the ones they're not interested in.

This section of the forum is here to serve as a place where modders and aspiring modders can come and ask for help or share knowledge.
When this forum gets flooded with requests it not only drives away some modders but also tends to drown out the threads where people are asking for help or guidance in fixing the mods they are making, which means mods taking longer to get finished if they ever do.
So yes, mod requests are a problem.
