Has the dedicated server already been updated to version 1.4 as well? If not then this is most likely your issue, that the version of the server and your local game currently don't match.

yes. I cant even get it downloaded, I keep getting a error message

they match think its a mod conflict.

Won't synchronize with gamesave that worked before 1.4 and made a new gamesave with the same mods server works.
