There appears to be a map setting where you can basically determine how many degrees of a circle the textures will be applied. You can tell how many degrees the map is set at based on the plowed texture. On the base maps, the minimum increment is 45 degrees, meaning if you make a 90 degree turn while plowing, you will see 3 directions of texture (0, 45 and 90). For some other maps, like Midwest Horizon and Ungetsheim it is a much smaller minimum increment as when you make a 90 degree turn you see like 10 textures with different directions, which means the degree increment is set at something like 10 instead of 45. This makes the ground look better when plowed in a turn.

On the downside, this same setting is used for help direction lock on, so if your don't make sure you're going absolutely straight in the direction you want, the help will appear to wonder off. If you use the GPS line to line up the the vehicle on a row and then press H, the helper will typically go the intended direction. This requires more precision than on base maps because the degrees of freedom are much closer together.

I'm suprised no one picked AutoDrive, or Pacific Northwest. But I'm gonna fix this.
