Time compression

Is there any way to control growth time. With the default harvesters, I can't even plant a field to the other end before the one end is already growing. Trying to time the harvest is silly. I had a field mature to harvest cycle before I could fronts l fertilize it.

Also, the fertilizer seems to last mire than once harvest cycle.

Fertilize before planting or use a planter that applies fertilize as you are planting.
