I'm going to try today to use my limited modding skills and my limited knowledge of Giants Editor to see if I can take one of the buildings from the Global Company HOT Production Pack and modify it and transform it into a Potato Sorting Building.

I've picked this model:

For the reason it has filling pipe that you could park a trailer under to receive your sorted Premium Potatoes. The other buildings in the pack all have pipes close to the ground as they are for filling liquids.

I'll have to re-jig the xml and stuff a bit as obviously the Potato Sorter has one input and outputs two products, where as this building current has two input materials and outputs one product.

I did try to modify the Sorter on the ModHub but sadly it doesn't contain a proper fill trigger for filling the potatoes that I could move, lower or make larger to accommodate trailer loading.

Might be easier just to copy the trigger from the mod above abd add it to the potato sorter?

No because the Potato Sorter is still too small for me personally. I really want a building on my map that looks like it can handle and process the volume of potatoes that get harvested. I mean the smallest field on my map yields 1.2 million litres of Potatoes so the building needs to be able to take a full trailer load of 60,000 at a time, as the trucks come from the field. I also want to combine the washing and sorting into the one building just to make things easier and limit the amount of manual handling the farm workers need to do. There's only so many times they want to pick up and unload a potato before they have a mental breakdown.

I've finished editing the model I want to use in Giants Editor and have changed all the logos and texts to the correct filltypes. I just now need to figure out how to get Giants Editor to make the xml file with all the settings that I need to configure to make the mod work.

I have used these mods on both Sussex Farms and now on Six Ashes. I have used both a trailer to tip the washed spuds into the sorters and a telehandler without issue. You have to tip on top of the sorter with the telehandler bucket not behind it.

Watty - you can load the potato washer from an auger wagon - the Lizard Auger Master handles potatoes https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2019

I fill the Auger Master from a potato silo, fill the washer from the Auger Master, then transfer to the sorter using a Bailey trailer to collect and tip directly into the sorter. I then use a conveyor to transfer to another Bailey trailer or into a 2nd potato silo.
