Ingredients:

1x Boeing 747.
1x Cadillac Limo airport transfer.
1x Harley Davidson Road King.
Add petrol (gas) as needed.

Method:

1) After flying from UK to Phoenix Az, swing leg over Harley Davidson Road King.
2) Ride to Anita's Cocina, Wickenburg Az.
3) Eat Tacos.

Must admit this was twenty years ago, but probably the best meal I've ever eaten. Google says the restaurant is still there.

Ok, this is not the best recipe in the world, but Anita made them in her home. Ish.

BoxTunnel, full of the nostalgia right now.

This isn’t a specific recipe, but here’s how I do it here in AZ:

Grill carne asada that’s been marinading for 24 hours (either bought from the carneceria or made by the wife). Then, throw some fresh made (from the carneceria), or store-bought, corn tortillas on the grill for a few minutes. Put those 2 together (no lettuce, cheese, salsa, or any of that stuff) and enjoy with your favorite frosty cold beer. This is a main staple in my house... even my mostly-vegetarian 13-year old son kind of likes it. :biggrin2:

I don't have a specific recipe, but I do have some taco rules:

1. if a taco has more than protein, cilantro, onions, and a sauce, it's not a taco. It's a mini-burrito.
2. there is no such thing as a "hard shelled taco". That's a U-shaped tostada.
3. I don't even think Taco Bell sells tacos.
4. If your taco doesn't fall apart when you're over halfway through, is it even a taco?
5. (See number one) Lettuce NEVER goes on a taco.
6. Chipotle's "tacos" are a rip-off. A bowl or buritto costs the same but has twice or more food. (I do love Chipotle, even if it causes blood-stains in my underwear)

Any others?

Well I also don't have a recipe, but I can tell you that should you ever find yourself in Pasco, WA, stop in and try Junior's Tacos. Good stuff.

Ingredients:
- 220gr of flour
- 20gr cornstarch
- 5gr yeast,
- 100gr ground beef
- 180gr of water
- 10ml of cooking oil
- Sweet corn
- 2 teaspoons of tomato sauce
Oregano leaves, garlic, cumin powder, pepper, paprika ...
- Cheese (cheese)

Steps to be followed:
Step 1: First, you mix flour with yeast with cornstarch and a little salt and then add oil to continue mixing.

Step 2: Use your hands to knead the dough thoroughly with water until you get a fine and non-sticky dough.

Step 3: You bring the dough for about 10 minutes. In the process of waiting you prepare the cake.

Step 4: Mix the tomato sauce with oregano, pepper, cumin powder and chili powder together.

Step 5: North the pan on the stove, fry the garlic, add the beef and stir-fry with the tomato sauce, then add the corn to the stir fry and turn off the heat. You can also replace this filling with chicken, pork, add bell pepper, avocado, smoked meat, ... depending on your favorite taste.

Step 6: Divide the dough into equal parts. With the amount of flour in this recipe you can prepare about 6-7 cakes!

Step 7: Roll each part of dough into thin round sheets. The cake crust will need to be about 1-2mm thin.

Step 8: North the pan on the stove, wait for the pan to be very hot, then put the cake crust in two sides to brown. When baking, pay attention to press the cake not to bulge. In addition to the way of frying, you can bake the cake over the fire if you like.

Step 9: If you are using fillings such as bacon or fried chicken, you need to spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the entire surface of the cake before filling. Then there's the filling and fold the cake in half.

Step 10: Put the cake in the pan to bake again so that the crust is golden and crispy to enjoy immediately.

If you are afraid that the tacos cake does not work, you can buy tacos crust at the bakery or sell baking ingredients to save on the crust. In addition, you can completely replace the seasoning and seasoning according to your taste.
