So I was skeptical on this as why would I use it on the farm? I downloaded it and have to say it's amazing at making fields (perfectly square) and easily moves snow and silage without struggling. Not to mention it looks awesome lol
That said... anyone who knows CAT equipment, this thing looks identical other than the name change. That said...it shows how and what we could get in this game if a modder takes the time to change the name, bravo to NMC Modding on this, hope to see more. **Disclaimer*** not bashing bother modders who don't change the name!

Also I downloaded the Steiger today from NEFG and by far the best sounding mod hands down! Great detail and everything but wow the sound blows my mind with the turbo and gear shifts! Hope that sound will be able to be used by others in the future

Yep, I started a new map with deep snow just to try it out... works great. It's slow moving but bulldozers are in real life so can't complain

Is it actually the size of a D11 or did they just name it that?

way too much machine for typical farm use, unless your farm includes large cuts for mining gold in the Klondike

now if it could take out trees while making new fields that could help justify it.

but still pretty cool

Spitting image of a D11 but in a video game lol CAT symbols are there but say nmc instead

The stieger is a great mod but I noticed that the inside wheels lift off the ground when you turn tight. Otherwise, it sounds just like the real thing wide open

Yeah I did notice sharp turns aren't fun but the detail in the sound makes me ignore that

If the 40 series sounded like this Steiger, that 40 series would be the perfect mod. It is amazing. I know it’s a different engine size in different brand I’m talking about that diesel ground that turbo whistle. Like the OP said this thing is the perfect sounding tractor

I have a few videos of the real thing working and one of it idling on my youtube channel.

We all should reach out to NEFG modding and have him sell this sound to giants lol or maybe work with other modders...I can't get over how good it sounds. This and JHHG combine are A+

Never even thought about using it for the silage pit. But it’s a damn expensive silage handler
