Harvesting oats in Year 5 in Chainsaw Valley.
Hello and Welcome Back Spunky fans!
After a long time away, we have returned with a bit of a recap of our Year 5 activities. Harvest time has come and gone and we are now in the winter months of the transition from Year 5 to Year 6. It's been a busy year for us, which included returning to Mammoth Mountain for Phase II of our logging operations, the development of a second farm and our usual habit of buying-and-selling equipment.
Please enjoy this pictorial of our year. Our final harvest totals came in as the following:
• Corn - 18,642 liters
• Wheat - 10,102 liters
• Oats - 4,596 liters
• Soybeans - 4,450 liters
From a game standpoint, we've passed the 500-hour mark on Chainsaw Valley. An impressive accomplishment, to be sure.

Emerald Acres has most of our older equipment we've purchased at auction.

Part of Phase II construction included a forest trail from Old Mine No. 9 to the top of Mammoth Mountain.

See you up the road!

Re: Spunky Dogg Farms & Forestry
The new Mammoth Mountain Resort is now complete.
Welcome back Spunky fans!
This is a way overdue update to our operations as we are rapidly approaching the fall harvest in Year 6 and a lot has happened since our last update.
It's taken a long time, but the resort atop Mammoth Mountain is now complete with cabins, a nice overlook and hiking trails. The money we're bringing in on the tourism front has proven to be a nice addition to our bottom line.
Two new industries have now set up shop in Chainsaw Valley: Baby Herman Milk Company (a milk-bottling plant) and Esther's Fine Threads, a clothing manufacturer.
A second sawmill has also claimed a plot bordering Elm Creek that runs through Chainsaw Valley, Stumpy's Wood Products. Stumpy's produces wood beams, long planks and prefabricated walls.
Loaded up and truckin' for the market after leaving Stumpy's Wood Products.
A second homestead has been set up on the property formerly known as Slate Rock & Gravel Company. We've kept the old rock crusher for lime, but have planted corn and soybeans on two fields.
After harvest, those fields will be turned over and cotton will be planted this winter.
A new homestead has been created on the former Slate Rock & Gravel Company property.
Back on the main farm, we've added a grass fermenter to turn grass into hay for our cows. After every 1,000 liters of milk is produced, it heads to the Baby Herman plant to be bottled. Bottled milk sells for nearly twice as much at market.
In the next year, we anticipate adding grapes to our list of goods and have cleared two sections of Mammoth Mountain to achieve this goal. We've also purchased Sherman's Hill at the far reaches of the valley that should provide us with good wood for years to come.
Loading trucks outside of Stumpy's.
That's all for now. There's been a lot of progress in Chainsaw Valley and we can't wait to see what the future brings.
See you up the road!
