It's a known issue, several patches ago.
Might just as well say it's the wind.

In my testing it's not the base game (or the Claas or Anderson DLC, the only ones I have), it's a mod which is causing it. I've never experienced it and even checked one of the supposed Claas headers for something like 3 hours while I watched F1 and it didn't move a millimetre.

Even on mod maps I've never noticed it, and I certainly would have noticed it if the trailer in the video above is typical.

It’s something that happened with the last bourgault update. I’m not saying it’s not a mod but when they updated it the big drill and several other things started sliding. It appears to have gotten worse with the last update though now a few more have begun sliding as well. There have been a few threads and bug reports already and one which I think they tried without mods and the big drill still slides around

The Claas wholecrop header on it's trailer is the worst for me.

I can't check the Bourgault DLC, but I've just done a quick test 30 minute test using the Claas wholecrop header on it's trailer, as Norfolk said, detached it from the tractor and left it lined up with one of the grid lines at the Felsbrunn shop. No other mods activated (though I didn't bother removing them).

Judging by the video above this should easily be long enough to check for such movement.

Just after parking it:

30 minutes later:

Best checked side by side by downloading the images and loading them as layers in an image editor.

Hardly a conclusive test, but in my case there has been zero movement.

I get sliding issue in certain circumstances ( on console by the way). I had a bunch of issues with the TLX 2020, with even trucks flipping on their side upon opening the game save( I have since deleted the mod). I had severe sliding with a John Deere 9600 and a 630X grain header (when they were connected/or touching). I had sliding in the Xerion until the update to fix it. More than likely they are due to mod conflicts.

Never had a big sliding issue that wasn't related to mod equipment.
Saying this is a Giants bug is kinda wrong in my opinion.
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

Had flipping and sliding issues when I had the NMC pickup truck trailer attached to the IT runner module with the BSM wood chipper on it. Couldn't park that thing anywhere, would flip and shift constantly.

I expect that the problem with stuff taking a leisurely walk across the farmyard or shifting in the barns between saves is related to the same bug that has caused bales to go all disco if stacked in just the right way, which as far as I know has been in the game at least four years.

More than likely yes. Giant's physics engine is weird...
