Having been hit by the train on Ravenport more times than I can count, I think it's a great solution. The train ride is interesting, once.
Aj confirmed that earlier in the thread.

I've been purchasing all the farmable area's on the northern end of the map, and connecting them with paths and trails. Hopefully I will have a nice harvest at years end this year. I'm looking into purchasing an articulated Agco Allis 8550 that a farmer in the area has sold to the local Agco dealer in town.

Hey everyone, I am getting ready to submit tiny update to map v1.3.0.0
Here is the change log. Super small update to polish map. This will more than likely be final update. :this:

Changelog 1.3.0.0:
-Fixed signs on buildings clipping
-Fixed road sign falling over East of Elder Farm
-Increased window view distance on few buildings
-Changed new career character spawn location
-Added support for Store Sales Mod
-Old save update safe

Is there any small detail that needs to be addressed before I submit?

Here are a few request that have been posted on this forum and my reply's

Make brown barn removable- I can't make the brown barn across the street from main farm removable do to file sharing of the base game. If I did it would cause increased slot counts and reduced optimization.

Add more crops- I am fine myself with vanilla crops. If there is enough community support for it I would considered it down the road, although I think it would require a new save for the feature and add to slot count. If there is an chance of it wrecking old save I definitely would not add them in case of accidental map update.

Add buying stations for seed and fert- I myself would like to add it but it requires new save for the feature. So probably not going to happen. That and its really not a big deal to just buy pallets.

Thanks so much for all of the feedback and helping with the map. This as of now is the final update. I look forward to FS22 and hopefully able to port. Thanks again.

Jullian F Modding and AJFarmer have really breathed new life into this game. Can’t thank them both enough. I’m exited to keep playing because of them both.

I'm so ready to get back to Griffin, after moving and having a near head on wreck all in the same week, I'm ready to kick back with some Farm Sim this weekend.

Glad you avoided the wreck

@lawm Congrats on the thirdgen, I've had a ton of those, they can be be a ton of fun.

We didn't avoid it fully, just not head on luckily, guy turned pulled in front of us, turning left, we were going through the intersection, we had the green light. i limped away with some cuts, a lot of bruises and a very sore back, my wife has a broken wrist and finger...my EP3 is totalled, half the motor is through the firewall...Replaced it with a Discovery II. We were on our way to sign the lease on the new place.

Word of advice, if you are going to get into a wreck, don't hit a bubble car Ford Taurus...that was like hitting a brick wall.

@lawm, thank you, yes it could've been alot worse, I am thankful that we were able to walk away, that car was my Christmas present from my wife, so that hurts more than the wreck itself.

Now that we're somewhat settled in to the new place, I'm ready to get back to farmsim, got the tvs and Xboxes set back up last night, won't have internet till the middle of the month (soonest they can have an installer come out) so I'll prolly have to wait till then to try out the new Jullian F stuff.

Sorry about your wreck and injuries. I get upset with all the people that think the start of a red is still green and last fall my wife paid the price ending up in a wheel chair for three months.

Just to keep the post legal I have a question for AJ. I now own fields 29 and 30 with two working oil wells. Who is getting the property income?

@Dagrump
Sorry but in the transfer of ownership the easement and land use papers (the ones specifically related to payments for the well being there) "accidentally" got damaged/lost.

Or if Indiana uses land rights, the previous owner sold the mineral rights to us, rather than keeping them with the property.
-Your local oil company/politicians who 100% care about you...

Dang! Thought I was going to get rich. Usually the words care and politician don't belong in the same sentence - unless the care is for themselves. :biggrin2:

Sorry Dagrump, as DEERE317 pointed out. In Indiana you can sell mineral rights. The Griffin Mayor just happened to buy a brand new truck and has been seen all day eating flapjacks at Uncle Pete's diner.
