Demolishable House Mod

So... I'm trying to demolish this house in the usual way: with an excavator! Thing is, nothing is happening. Has anybody had success with this mod?

you have to chop it up with chainsaw first

Well the it's not demolishable. It's just a strange looking tree.

My brother can't even get the house to show up. When he places it it will just leave a hole in the ground but no house or even the foundation. I never tried it myself on my Xbox to see if it does the same thing though.
