Man this forum desperately needs a like or thank button

I presume it will be the announcement of FS-22. We're heading into May soon, its about time we heard something. It'll be interesting to see what the new version is like.

That looks like one of the 4 million nonsense fake trailers for the next FS that's been running around for the past 18 months. I won't believe any of those until legitimate confirmation from giants

I will prefer having an updated FS19 (Precision farming plus few other things) instead of a new version...

They should remove "19" from the name and just update it, same as SCS's doing with ETS and ATS.

Completely agree. Don't think I would be willing to start all over again and have to wait months before we start seeing enough American equipment and map mods. Just now getting to the point where I am finally very happy with the map and equipment lineup I have on fs19.

Yes exactly i completely agree. FS19 has now 2 many great mods to be abandoned. Look at ats,ets2 and cities skylines soooo many mods and the games just keep getting better with regular updates and expansions. We really dont need new game every frickin 2 years or 3 years this time. But like i said its far more profitable to release slightly updated game every 2 years than to upgrade one game for 5 or more years. And that what is what seperates great devs from others. Giants imo chooses profit over quality its that simple.

As for the ETSII/ATS update cycle. The number of engine updates/changes to optimize/add features would still likely break most all mods every few years. ATS/ETSII has a very good driving game engine and all they have to do is bug fix and add content (vehicles and map expansions) but FS’s engine will be getting overhauled for years to come.

From what I’ve observed GIANTS engines update cycle is: Graphics then physics/features (or vice versa) other than FS19 did both at once which probably is why it was buggy.
FS15 highly upgraded graphics over Fs13, FS17 uses a slightly tweaked graphics engine but totally changed scripting.
